Nadia Kadakova

Nadia Kadakova is a Data Scientist and Chief Product Officer at Trajecta Health, a healthcare technology company building patient-specific, research-grade evidence that clinicians can use at the bedside. She trained in bioinformatics at the Keck School of Medicine at USC, and has since worked on real-world evidence and data analytics for research institutes, life sciences organisations, and OHDSI — an open-science community advancing healthcare data standards and observational research.

In her TEDxNHS talk, Nadia argues that medicine’s next chapter should make it possible to provide personalised care to people with multimorbidity and those in underserved areas. Patients who have been routinely excluded from clinical trials meant to guide their care. She explores what becomes possible when we finally build evidence for them, and shares the personal story that made healthcare data science more than a career.
