John Shenouda

Dr John Shenouda is an Anaesthetic doctor working in London. He a member of the Royal College of Anaesthetists Ethics Committee and an Honorary Visiting Lecturer at Brighton & Sussex Medical School.

His publications in the field of ethics include matters of consent, capacity, CPR and physician assisted suicide. John’s special interest in the debate around assisted dying was inspired after he observed a lack of breadth in the public discussion. He believes in the need for objective, open, and honest discussion in order for meaningful progress to be made on this sensitive and vitally important topic.
